DESCRIPTION
The indisputable benefits of high-pressure mould nonferrous casting include:
- the high precision and high aesthetic qualities of the castings obtained;
- the ability to obtain products with thin walls and complex configurations;
- fine-grained structure, a reduced number of defects and the high mechanical properties of castings obtained;
- the ability to obtain castings with fittings composed of other metals.
Currently, AO “SAPT” manufactures over 80 types of products by high-pressure mould metal casting. These are mainly parts for the motor vehicle industry.
The main materials for this production include aluminium (AK5M3, AK9M2, AK12 M2, etc.) and zinc (TsAM 4-1) alloys.
Each batch of material entering the Plant passes inspection for compliance with the required parameters at its own accredited laboratory.
Crucible resistance electric furnaces are used for melt preparation that provide maintenance and easy adjustment of the required melt temperature. The casting casting process is performed using high-pressure mould casting machines with locking force from 160 t to 550 t.

A grinding section, a machining section with metal-cutting equipment, as well as tumbling and vibro-washing sections enable the machining of cast products to obtain the final product.
The tool shop and the design department of the Company ensure the prompt repair and updating of moulds. Moulds are kept after work has been carried out and stored in a room with the required microclimate.
